From account to connection

VPNBW Setup Guide

Set up your account and subscription in the user dashboard, then import the servers into a client on your device. The steps below follow the actual setup sequence and explain where to go and what to expect at each stage.

Button labels and menu locations can vary slightly between operating systems and client versions. Follow the interface in your current client and look for options such as “Subscription,” “Import,” or “Add.” If the steps differ, check the Help Center for the issue you’re seeing.

Account

Create an account and open the user dashboard

Open the user dashboard from the free trial page. Follow the prompts to set a username and password, then double-check your details before submitting. VPNBW does not require an email address to create an account. You’ll just need to remember the login details you chose; there’s no verification email to prepare. If you already have an account, use the login link on the right side of the navigation instead of creating another one.

Once your account is set up, make sure you’re in the user dashboard before choosing a plan. Use the dashboard to review orders, retrieve subscription details, and access the clients. Your personal subscription link isn’t shown on the marketing pages. If you’re still on the form after submitting it, check the message near the form to see whether your username or password needs to be changed. Don’t create multiple accounts to troubleshoot a connection.

This step gives you access to your account; it doesn’t connect a device to a server. Next, choose between a monthly subscription and a data package based on how you plan to use the service. Before paying, check how data is counted, whether it resets, and whether your usual devices are supported. Reviewing these details first can help you avoid choosing the wrong option.

Billing

Choose a plan and check the billing terms

After logging in, open the Plans page in the user dashboard and compare monthly subscriptions with data packages. Monthly subscriptions come in three tiers: ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the activation date. Data packages remain valid indefinitely until used up: ¥158/300GB, ¥358/1000GB, and ¥658/3000GB. The two options suit different usage patterns: monthly subscriptions offer a set monthly allowance, while data packages are used as needed.

Before choosing, check the price, data allowance, and billing details on the plan card, then review your selection on the order confirmation page. If you upgrade a monthly subscription partway through its term, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Keep this in mind if you expect to change tiers. Payment options are the Alipay, WeChat Pay, or USDT methods shown at checkout. Confirm that the order matches your selection, then follow the prompts to pay.

After payment, return to the user dashboard and check the subscription status in Account Overview. For a newly submitted order, rely on the status shown in the dashboard. Don’t judge activation solely by whether the payment page has closed, and don’t place repeated orders for the same need. VPNBW offers a 7-day no-questions-asked refund. For details, see the Refund Policy. For a full comparison, visit the Plans and Pricing page; this guide covers only the checks needed to get started.

Subscription

Get your subscription and prepare to import it into a client

Once your subscription is available, open Account Overview in the user dashboard and find your current plan and subscription details. Get the subscription details your client needs from the dashboard after logging in. Don’t mistake the marketing page URL in your browser’s address bar for a subscription link, and don’t copy supposedly universal links from articles or screenshots. If the relevant option isn’t visible in the dashboard, check your account and order status, then see the Help Center for next steps.

Your subscription link is tied to your account. Use the dashboard’s copy option where possible to avoid missing characters at either end. After pasting it into your client, check that the full link appears in the field. Don’t share the link in public comments, group chats, or shared documents. If your client can import a subscription from the clipboard, first make sure the clipboard contains the link you just copied from the dashboard.

Next, get the client for your device from the client downloads area in the user dashboard. VPNBW supports Windows, macOS, iOS, Android, and Linux. Both client downloads and subscription details are available in the dashboard; installation packages aren’t provided on public pages. Download access depends on your plan being active in the dashboard. Once you have the client and subscription details, follow the instructions for your device in the next section. There’s no need to repeat the same import steps on multiple devices at once.

Device

Import your subscription to load servers on your device

In the user dashboard, choose the VPNBW client for your device and get it using the method provided there. The first time you use it, your system may request permission related to network connections. Read the system prompt and respond as needed. In the client, look for Subscription Management, Add Subscription, or Import. Add the subscription details from the dashboard and wait for the region and server list to appear. Menu labels vary by platform, but you can tell the import is complete when the client shows servers you can select—not just a saved entry in a text field.

Windows

Select the Windows client in the dashboard’s downloads area, install it, and open the main window. Find the subscription management or add subscription option, paste in the subscription details copied from the dashboard, and confirm the import. If the client asks you to update the subscription before showing the server list, complete the update before choosing a region. If the list is empty, return to the import option and check what you pasted. An empty list means the servers haven’t been imported; it doesn’t necessarily indicate a connection problem.

macOS

Choose the VPNBW client for macOS in the dashboard and open it. If macOS displays a prompt about network permissions or extensions, follow the on-screen instructions to grant access. Then import the details from the dashboard using the client’s subscription or configuration menu. If the region list doesn’t appear right away, check whether the client has a separate option to update the subscription. Once the list appears, choose a server. You don’t need to change other network settings first.

Android

Open the Android client link from the dashboard, then look for Add Subscription, Import, or Configuration Management in the app. Import the subscription details from the dashboard and wait for the server list to load. If Android asks for permission to set up a network connection the first time you connect, make sure the prompt is for the client you just opened, then follow the instructions. Verify the connection in the client before switching to another app.

iOS

Check how to get the iOS client in the dashboard, then find Add Subscription or Import Configuration in the app. Add the subscription details from the dashboard using a method supported by the client, and confirm that the server list appears. When you connect for the first time, iOS may ask you to approve a system configuration. After confirming, return to the client and check its connection status; the prompt disappearing doesn’t by itself mean you’re connected.

Linux users can also choose the relevant client in the dashboard and import the subscription through its interface. The platform-specific steps above cover the common sequence. If you encounter a specific error with installation, system permissions, or subscription updates, note the message on screen and look for it in the Help Center. For symptom-by-symptom troubleshooting, see Troubleshooting. There’s no need to change a lot of settings before your first import.

Verification

Check your connection and confirm access

Choose a region from the server list that suits what you need to access, then tap the client’s connect button. Wait until the client shows Connected or a similar status, then open the website you need and check that it loads. Whenever possible, test with a service you actually need rather than relying on the connection icon alone. The status shows that the client has attempted to establish a connection; whether the target page opens is a separate result to verify.

If the page still won’t load, first check that the selected server, subscription list, and connection status haven’t changed. Then try another suitable server for the same purpose. Singapore, the United States, Hong Kong, Japan, the Netherlands, and Canada are examples of regions to consider. The right choice depends on the service you’re accessing and current server conditions. After switching, reload the target page. This makes it easier to see what changed than repeatedly tapping Connect.

If the client shows Connected but the website won’t open, note your device, operating system, client message, selected region, and whether all websites are affected or just one service. These details can help distinguish an outdated subscription from a server selection or app-specific issue. Start with the Help Center; for a step-by-step system check, follow the relevant symptoms in Troubleshooting. Your account, plan, subscription, and device connection are now set up. To add another device later, return to the client downloads area in the dashboard and repeat the import steps.
